Process Engineer - Sulphur Recovery (Fort Saskatchewan)

Overview

Process Engineer – Sulphur Recovery (Contact Engineer – Upgrader, SRC 1/2/3) provides daily technical process engineering support to ensure units operate safely, reliably, and profitably in accordance with the license and safe operating envelope.

Responsibilities

• Review shift logs, shift plans, and attend Technical Support Huddle; lead weekly alarm meetings.
• Own proactive technical monitoring of the unit against safe operating envelope and LTO limits; document performance with monthly/quarterly KPI reports.
• Work with Contact Engineers (CEs) and Technical Senior Engineer (TSE) to implement monitoring standards.
• Provide input for production accounting and regulatory reporting (yield, flaring, chemical costs, etc.).
• Maintain the alarm database; identify and communicate threats to safety, LTO limits, production plans, turnaround cycles, equipment and maintenance plans.
