Key Responsibilities

Process Optimization

  • Analyze cement mill performance (Ball Mills, VRMs) using SIP, Six Sigma, DOE methodologies.
  • Optimize grinding efficiency and reduce specific power consumption.
  • Monitor and adjust key parameters such as feed rate, separator speed, ventilation, and mill loading.
  • Identify bottlenecks and implement throughput improvement strategies.

Quality & Efficiency Management

  • Ensure cement quality parameters (fineness, residue, strength) meet BIS/ASTM standards.
  • Stabilize processes to reduce quality variability.
  • Coordinate with maintenance for predictive maintenance and downtime reduction.

Sustainability & Energy Management

  • Lead energy-saving initiatives (grinding aids optimization, mill internals improvement, circuit modifications).
