Process Engineer

**Position Summary**:
Responsible for establishing work standards to maintain and improve productivity. Ensures that the production standard system is in accord with the Labor Agreement.
**Primary Responsibilities**:
- Performs time-studies to establish production goals.
- Restudies certain operations upon request, due to changes in customer specifications, equipment improvements, employee grievances etc. Reviews and recommends answer to grievances concerning goals or methods.
- Develops plans for standardizing manufacturing and inspection methods and equipment and preparing data such as time, material and cost estimates. Prepares labor estimates for job costing.
- Writes Standard Practices (work instructions), calculates Standard Goal Changes, discusses time-study and production flow with operators to create best work path for production flow. Reviews all labor variance and missing cost information.
