Prior Authorization Coordinator

We are seeking a Prior Authorization Coordinator to join our client's healthcare team.

Job Responsibilities:

• Handle end-to-end prior authorization for Physical Therapy under Workers' Compensation
• Follow up regularly with Workers' Compensation adjusters on pending approvals
• Manage and submit appeals for denied or partially approved authorizations
• Track authorization status and keep records accurate and up to date
• Communicate approval updates clearly with internal teams

Requirements

• Experience with prior authorizations for Physical Therapy
• Direct exposure to Workers' Compensation cases
• Proven experience handling authorization denials and appeals
• Strong follow-up, documentation, and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple cases independently
