Job Description

The AWS Demand Planning team is looking for a Technical Program Manager to facilitate planning EC2 infrastructure. This role will require the candidate to deep dive the individual steps that are required to take an instance from idea to delivery and ensure that AWS maintains a valid plan for these products at all times. Specifically, this individual will impact the overall AWS CapEx plan by: planning the required servers needed to launch in an AWS region/new product, driving demand shaping options for internal customers to available hardware, and helping compare EC2’s forecast against the approved CapEx plan. The ideal candidate is one who has worked at the intersection of software engineering teams, finance, and supply chains; who can understand constraints from each group and work between worlds to create strategic plans to ensure EC2’s continued growth while optimizing for long-term efficiency.
