Responsibilities

MaxLinear is seeking a Senior Principal Software Engineer to join our growing team. In this role, you will focus on the following:

  • Lead development of next generation IEEE 802.11 Wi-Fi based standards based broadband products providing high speed data connectivity

    • Qualifications

  • Deep knowledge of system programming in C in embedded systems
  • Experience in assembly language programming is an added advantage
  • About 14 years (or more) of relevant experience in WLAN driver/FW development
  • Ability to independently develop and own software modules
  • Experience in working with Customers, Customer Engineering Teams, Product Marketing Teams and translating that into engineering roadmap and delivering to releases
  • Experience in managing customer accounts
  • Expertise in Linux Kernel/Driver development and system level knowledge
