The role

focuses on systems engineering excellence, large-scale integration, and Agile Delivery within the Defence enterprise.

Day-to-day, you will operate as a trusted advisor to MOD stakeholders and Front-Line Commands for an architect that defines and drives the technical strategy for major Defence programmes, competitive bids, and capability transformation initiatives.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Leading end to end Systems Engineering activities in accordance with Defence and our customers best practices, covering requirements capture, system design, interface definition, verification, validation and acceptance

  • Developing and managing system of systems architecture supporting multi domain integration

  • Leading technical integration efforts across platforms, sensors, data links, applications, networks, and command-and-control systems overseeing the integration across multiple partners and stakeholders
