Principal Manufacturing Engineer

Based in Henlow

Salary up to £50,000

Most Manufacturing Engineers are good at the technical side. Fewer are good at the people side. This role needs both.

Overview

You will lead a team of Senior Manufacturing Engineers on a growing site with increasing production rates and an expanding pipeline. Your influence will shape how the manufacturing function scales, not just how it runs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage workloads and drive continuous improvement.
  • Represent the team at cross-functional forums.
  • Engage in Design for Manufacturing (DfM) conversations early to make a timely impact.
  • Opportunities to contribute to manufacturing architecture and future factory concepts.
