The Mission

IdleX is redefining the semi-truck eAPU as an AI-driven, zero-idle, zero-maintenance system. We are moving beyond static gauges to a system that predicts range, monitors health via acoustics, and communicates in natural language. As our Principal Engineer, you will be the superstar architect responsible for the entire data journey—from hardware-adjacent telemetry to the cloud-based fleet portal.

What You'll Do

• Full-Stack Platform Ownership:
  Design and implement backend services that ingest, normalize, and persist high-volume telemetry using event-driven and MQTT-based pipelines.
• IoT & Device Lifecycle:
  Implement secure authentication and bi-directional communication for commands and diagnostics, designed for intermittent connectivity.
