Job Description

We are looking for a Principal Engineer who will be responsible for the installation, configuration and maintenance of Oracle's technologies and products.

Full‑time engineer providing Oracle Exadata base rack L2/L3 support on four (4) Oracle Exadata systems.

Required Experience & Skills

  • Oracle Linux
  • OEM Cloud Control
  • Oracle DB
  • Oracle Engineered Systems – Exadata
  • Backup and restoration

Responsibilities

  • Apply Oracle critical, Exadata, and rollup patch sets for operating system, grid, ASM, InfiniBand, database, and storage cell.
  • Patching of Exadata.
  • Planning and managing Exadata.
  • Perform all DBA/system activities related to Exadata as required and requested.
  • Assist customers with automation and monitoring routines for Exadata.
  • Perform duties related to supporting operational and technical aspects of the Exadata.
