Principal Commodity Manager

Our NI Emerson Procurement team is growing and we're looking for a Global Commodity Manager based in Penang, Malaysia to support our portfolio of interconnects commodity which includes connectors and custom mechanical parts (cable assemblies). This person will have a passion for collaboration, excellent organizational skills, and a commitment to finding cost-saving solutions. The ideal candidate will have a background in sourcing, procurement, and supply chain and will be responsible for driving supplier performance, reducing total cost of ownership, and optimizing our supply chain process

In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

• Creating and implementing a global strategy and collaboration model for interconnects which includes connectors and custom mechanical parts (cable assemblies).
• Building relationships on a global, regional, and local scale to become a trusted advisor with collaborators in order to ensure goals are aligned and achieved.
