About the Role
We are seeking a committed and enthusiastic Year 2 Class Teacher to join a dedicated team on a maternity cover basis starting in the second half of the Autumn term. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in continuing the high standards of teaching and learning within the Key Stage 1 team.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging and effective lessons in line with the Year 2 curriculum.
- Plan and assess pupils' work in accordance with school and national standards.
- Maintain accurate records of pupils' progress and contribute to reporting and parent consultations.
- Create a nurturing classroom environment that supports learning and well-being.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues, support staff, and parents.
