Job Function:

• Supervise the Estimator team

  
  

• Responsible for estimates and tenders for Durban office

  
  

• Distribute general quotes / RFP / RFQ via a register

  
  

• Liaise with clients to discuss rate submissions and provide solutions

  
  

• Check and authorise quotations / proposals for all transport modes: Sea, Road, Air, Cross-trade, and Abnormal Cargo

  
  

• Negotiate rates with shipping lines, transporters, and airlines as needed

  
  

• Ensure rates are updated in the system and remain competitive

  
  

• Adhere to the three-rate policy for tenders and abnormal quote requests due to market fluctuations

  
  

• Analyze official tender requests (RFQ / RFP / RFI) for all Industrial Project Tenders (excluding Mining Tenders)

  
  

• Assist with compiling rates and solutions for tenders
