Job Description
The role of the Pricing Assistant is an entry job in logistics, it consists not only in giving support to the Analysts but to ensure all information is available and updated so Pricing can be more assertive. You will be responsible for being the receiver of all quote requests as well as ensuring the file arrives with all the necessary information to the operations team, being a key part of the department.
We are looking to train and teach the knowledge in freight forwarding to our new teammate!
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Receiving and replying to Agent’s requests on email, checking if all information is present and request for it in case it isn’t.
- Open new quotes on our system and directing them to the respective Analyst.
- Keep track of the contract rates and ensure it is all in our records and updated.
- Open new files once approved by Customer and input necessary information for operations to coordinate it.
