About the Role

: 

Reporting to the Head L&H Pricing Japan, the candidate will be responsible to price business written by the Japan office in accordance with relevant technical guidelines and the Terms of Trade. The candidate will also be responsible for developing new business opportunities in close cooperation with client managers, underwriters and other units, by developing new product offerings; by identifying joint product development opportunities; and by structuring solutions mainly from a traditional reinsurance perspective.


Major responsibilities: 

  • Manage actuarial matters to execute quotations for traditional and non-traditional reinsurance structures. 

  • Maintain actuarial Terms of Trade, . the detailed terms on which business can be written, for all major lines of business, and initiation of regular experience studies in support of these terms
