Job Description

The Press Assistant role supports the setup, operation, changeover, and maintenance processes on flexographic printing presses.

  • Take direction from Press Operator
  • Coordinate duties with Operator to minimize waste and downtime.
  • General Cleaning 
  • Preparing for upcoming jobs.
  • Retrieving ink from inventory.
  • Staging of ink and plates.
  • Retrieving and cutting cores as needed.
  • Empty waste bins as needed.
  • Follow all applicable instructions relative to GMP's.
  • Other duties as assigned.
    • Qualifications

    Prior experience not required, we will train you! 

    You'll need to be able to:

  • Work effectively in an active team environment.
  • Lift and move materials weighing up to 50 pounds.
  • Differentiate colors.
  • Add, subtract, multiply, divide, and read a ruler to 1/32 of an inch.
