Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Precision Welder on the Westside of Jacksonville to perform welding repairs and fabrication on gas and steam turbine components and other heavy industrial equipment. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with TIG (GTAW), MIG (GMAW), and Stick (SMAW) welding processes, welding a variety of alloys, maintaining tight tolerances, and producing welds that meet demanding quality standards.
Pay: $24-30/hr
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Perform TIG (GTAW), MIG (GMAW), and Stick (SMAW) welding on:
300 Series Stainless Steels
400 Series Stainless Steels
Hastelloy-X
Inconel alloys
Aluminum
Silicon Bronze
Carbon and low-alloy steels
- Weld materials as thin as 0.060 inches while maintaining dimensional and metallurgical integrity.
