Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Checking architectural and structural precast concrete members, including bridges, building and miscellaneous members
  • Review Precast building layouts
  • Working with structural and architectural contract drawings
  • Other duties as assigned.

    • Technical Requirements

  • Post-Secondary education in Civil, Architectural, Structural or Mechanical Technology is preferred, however, less education combined with appropriate experience will be taken into consideration
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience with drafting/detailing and experience with architectural, structural and mechanical contract drawings.

    • Business Requirements 

  • Ability to work in a steady and even pace to promote accuracy and quality of work
  • High attention to detail
  • Previous experience in the construction industry is an asset
  • Ability to read architectural and structural drawings is a requirement
