Drive the success of our Pre-Service Firefighter Program as a Technologist overseeing training centre operations and equipment maintenance. Ensure compliance with health and safety standards for the benefit of all trainees.
The Fire Ground Lab Technologist role focuses on maintaining and operating the Fire Protection Training Centre efficiently. You will provide crucial technical support, manage equipment usage, and collaborate on training strategies with faculty. Your experience will help advance our safety and operational standards.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage training centre facilities and operational equipment
• Evaluate and recommend training-related equipment purchases
• Maintain Safety Data Sheets (SDS) and chemical inventory
• Prepare and schedule equipment for off-site training
• Assist in budgeting for maintenance supplies
Requirements:
• 1-year certificate in Pre-Service firefighting or equivalent
• NFPA 1072 Hazardous Materials certification...
