We are seeking a compassionate and creative Pre‑Formal Teacher to support children with profound and multiple learning difficulties (PMLD). The role focuses on building foundational communication, emotional regulation, and engagement skills through tailored, sensory‑rich learning.

Responsibilities

• Deliver highly personalised, pre‑formal learning programmes tailored to individual pupil needs.
• Support the development of early communication, interaction and engagement skills.
• Apply multi‑sensory approaches using sight, sound, touch, movement and play to promote learning.
• Collaborate with speech and language therapists, physiotherapists and other professionals to integrate therapeutic approaches into everyday learning.
• Support therapy‑integrated programmes such as hydrotherapy, sensory regulation activities and massage stories.
