Pre-Employment Support Worker

POSITION OVERVIEW

DCN is seeking two compassionate and skilled Pre-Employment Support Workers to join our Pre-Employment Supports Program. This is a full-time, two-year term position supporting individuals facing multiple and interconnected barriers to employment, including limited work history, education gaps, literacy and numeracy challenges, housing or transportation instability, childcare responsibilities, and physical or mental health concerns. The Pre-Employment Support Worker provides individualized, strengths-based support to help clients build employment readiness, strengthen life skills, and move toward sustainable employment. The position works closely with income assistance staff, community partners, and employers to ensure coordinated and effective service delivery.
