Pre-Clinical Autopsy Technician

Job Overview

As a Technician on the Necropsy team located in Senneville, Canada, you will perform post‑mortem examinations of laboratory animals while adhering to ethical regulations and study directives.

Primary Responsibilities

• Dissect and evaluate animal tissues for pathologists.
• Weigh and document all abnormalities of the organs.
• Euthanize animals prior to performing the necropsy.

Qualifications

• Collegial Diploma in Animal Health, Bachelor’s degree in Biology or a related Animal Science field.
• Experience in dissection (asset).
• Ability to work both independently and within a team, with strong attention to detail.
• Physical ability to lift up to 20 kg, walk, stand, stoop, etc.
• Proficient reading and writing in English; bilingual in French and English preferred.
