Practica Coordinator

The School of Child and Youth Care resides in the Faculty of Human and Social Development and is a four-year professional degree with three practicum courses. There are three specialization streams that require specific knowledge and expertise from the Practica Coordinator.

The Coordinator works closely with on‑campus and distance students in the Child and Youth Care (CYC) program to place them in practicums that match their career aspirations and learning goals. This includes students applying for local, national, and international practicums.

The Coordinator is also responsible for maintaining and building relationships with community organizations, agencies, schools and government ministries to provide rich learning environments and opportunities for practicum students to grow professionally.
