Collins Aerospace is looking for a Work Transfer Principal Specialist to execute make-to-buy and buy-to-buy projects for Avionics. This position will receive the handoff of negotiated supplier-to-supplier transition projects from the Sourcing/Commodity and Procurement organizations and navigate them through the transition process, removing obstacles along the way, until the new supplier has demonstrated the ability to supply rate production volumes. The role will network across organizations such as Sourcing/Procurement, Program Management, Engineering, and Supplier Quality to remove obstacles to success.

Responsibilities

• Onboard supplier to ensure the qualification of parts in the transition from initial delivery through rate production.
• Develop Work Transfer project plans, schedule, and lead cadence meetings for projects ensuring buy-in from product stakeholders including customers and suppliers.
