The consultant engineer will be working within the Advanced Powertrain team as part of the Powertrain Engineering group at our client’s premises, and will contribute to the research & development of innovative digital tools & virtual calibration processes for hybrid & electric vehicles. Specifically the consultant will develop methodologies in the field of controls and model-based calibration, and for the assigned project the main responsibilities will include:

  • Methodology development & tools: Standardize virtual development processes for powertrain systems, develop and implement model-based calibration methodologies and parameter identification tools, continuously improve existing methods and tools available within the group.
  • Modeling & simulation: Develop and maintain powertrain system-level and vehicle-level 1D/0D models, support control development and model-based calibration activities through robust modeling frameworks, ensure...
