**Job Description Summary**
The Powerplant Technician Apprenticeship Program at GE Aerospace in Lafayette, Indiana will provide apprentices with the hands-on experience and classroom training required to obtain their FAA Powerplant certificate. The program is divided into two sections. The first section is structured with key training and progression milestones to ensure the apprentice meets the standards to be eligible to test for their FAA Powerplant certificate. Apprentices will have access to expansive learning opportunities led by experienced aviation and engine maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) professionals at GE. GE will provide the resources and guidance during this program to enable your success. Continued employment throughout the program is contingent upon obtaining your FAA Powerplant certificate (within 36 months).
