Power Trader – Canada, Short-Term

Dynasty Power Inc. is a global electricity, natural gas, and emissions trading firm with active operations across North America, Europe, and Asia. The firm participates in all major power markets, including CAISO, IESO (Ontario), ISO-NE, NYISO, PJM, MISO, SPP, AESO, and ERCOT, with trading floors located in Calgary, Houston, and Europe.

Responsibilities

• Manage proprietary power trading positions in Ontario and Alberta, developing deep expertise in short-term cash markets within the AESO and IESO
• Develop market views, trading strategies, and pricing across financial products
• Contribute to the growth and profitability of Dynasty Power’s Canadian trading business
• Collaborate with other traders to share market intelligence, analytics, and trade ideas
• Coordinate with Mid-Office to validate daily P&L, risk metrics, and position reporting
