Power Electronics Engineer

We are looking for a highly motivated Power Electronics Engineer to join our Sensing and Communications Department in Concord, MA or Groton, CT.

Successful candidates will have a BS, MS, or PhD in Electrical Engineering with a focus in power systems design.
You will support the design and development of a wide variety of underwater maritime systems including electromechanical actuation systems, payloads for unmanned underwater vehicles, acoustic communication transceivers, motor systems, and high-power acoustic transmit arrays.

Candidates must have a proven track record of designing, implementing, and testing high voltage/high power electrical components of prototype R&D systems. Experience designing energy storage system components, DC/DC converters, power amplifiers and magnetics, and interfacing with embedded processors is required.
