Job Description

Salary: £42,000 - 70,000 per year

Requirements

  • Deep expertise in Microsoft Power BI, including Desktop, Service, gateways and workspace management, with strong DAX and data modelling skills.
  • Solid experience working with large and complex data sets, writing optimised queries and understanding performance impacts.
  • Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts, star schemas, ETL/data ingestion and relational database systems such as SQL Server or Azure SQL.
  • Experience with role-based security and row-level security in Power BI.
  • Good visualisation design sense, including UX best practices for dashboards, filters, slicers, and mobile versus desktop views.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Azure and Power BI Premium or Embedded.
  • Power BI or data analytics certification, such as Microsoft Certified: Data Analyst Associate, is advantageous.
