Powders Operative

Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced Operative at our Ballidon plant in Derbyshire to produce powders and granules for industrial and agricultural markets.

Main Responsibilities

As the successful Operative, you will report to the Powders Production Coordinator and support a rotating shift pattern. Responsibilities include maintaining plant balance, ensuring product compliances, operating mobile plant, and performing daily safety and quality checks.

• Operating the processing plant
• Loading lorries via the control room with daily customer requirements
• Collaborating with the lab testing team
• Carrying out daily safety and quality checks on plant
• Attending and contributing to monthly safety and operational meetings
• Operating manual bulk bag machines
• Maintaining good housekeeping
