Job Summary

The Postgres Engineer is responsible for designing, deploying, and managing PostgreSQL databases on Google Cloud. This role involves migration planning, performance tuning, high availability configuration, security hardening, and integration with Google Cloud services to ensure optimal database performance and reliability.

Key Roles & Responsibilities

• Design and implement PostgreSQL database solutions on Google Cloud using Cloud SQL or Bare Metal solutions.
• Plan and execute migrations of PostgreSQL workloads from on-premises or other cloud platforms to Google Cloud.
• Configure networking, storage, and security for PostgreSQL workloads.
