PostgreSQL Database Administrator – PostgreSQL, Clustering & Cloud Migration

Required Skills & Qualifications

PostgreSQL Administration

• Proven experience as a PostgreSQL Database Administrator in enterprise environments.
• Strong knowledge of PostgreSQL architecture, including:
• WAL
• MVCC
• Vacuum processes
• Hands-on experience with RepMgr clustering, failover handling, and node recovery.
• Working knowledge of:
• Logical replication
• Streaming replication

Performance & Troubleshooting

• Expertise in:
• Performance tuning
• Query optimization
• Database troubleshooting
• Strong problem-solving skills for complex database issues.
