Key Responsibilities

Install, configure, and maintain PostgreSQL database servers

Monitor database performance, availability, and capacity

Perform database tuning, query optimization, and indexing

Strong experience with PostgreSQL administration

Familiarity with Linux/Unix systems

Understanding of database security and encryption

Experience with monitoring tools (pg_stat_statements, Prometheus, Grafana, etc.)

Ability to troubleshoot complex database issues
