Overview The Interdisciplinary Science (IS) Department at Brookhaven National Laboratory (BNL) is seeking a Postdoctoral Research Associate for a one-year appointment with an opportunity for renewal to perform research using artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML) with a focus on large language models (LLMs) and foundation models (FMs) relevant to electric power systems. Responsibilities Develop and implement artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML) techniques for power system planning, operation, control, and cybersecurity, with a focus on grid applications of LLMs and FMs to ensure the energy security and operational reliability of electric power systems.
