During the postdoc, you will investigate variants of the Fermi-Hubbard Hamiltonian, a cornerstone model of condensed matter physics that describes strongly-correlated materials, quantum magnets, and possibly high-temperature superconductors, using uItracold strontium atoms in optical lattices. Specifically, we are interested in exploring the SU(N)-symmetric variant of the model, for which intricate magnetic orders and exotic spin liquid phases have been predicted.
