Job Description
The Department of Agroecology at Aarhus University, Denmark, is offering a postdoctoral position in the Soil Fertility Section, starting 01-08-2026 or as soon as possible thereafter. The position will be available for a 2-year period.
You will be part of a research environment focusing on interaction between crop growth, soil fertility, and the nutrients turnover in agricultural soils. You will be contributing to specifically the area of phosphorus dynamics in agroecosystems, with an emphasis on the impacts of phosphorus management on crop performance and environmental losses. The main focus of your position will be to investigate phosphorus availability from biochar following its application to agricultural soils, including effects on phosphorus leaching risks and soil phosphorus cycling processes. You will work experimentally with already established experiments including lysimeter trials, and you will have the opportunity to design and initiate new experiments.
