Role Summary

We have a fantastic opportunity for a Trainee Operator to join our team. You will be required to liaise with brokers, counterparties, owners, and charters throughout the fixtures. The successful candidate will manage a variety of post –fixture related duties for the Tanker department, and should be organised, highly responsive and diligent.


What you’ll be doing

  • Manage day‑to‑day post‑fixture operational matters for vessels and cargoes. 

  • Liaise with brokers, owners, charterers, and counterparties on all operational issues.

  • Review recaps and charter parties for accuracy and compliance.

  • Input and maintain voyage data and operational updates on voyage sheets.

  • Track vessel schedules and ensure contractual obligations are met.

  • Monitor, diarise, and communicate all required declarations ahead of deadlines.
