Porter (Floor Tech)

 Full time, every other weekend.

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Floor Tech assumes the responsibility for the cleanliness of the physical plant and facility environment. She/he is responsible for the optimal functioning of all facility housekeeping equipment.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

•Assures that resident areas are clean, orderly, and safe at all times.

•Monitors buffer and vacuum cords for resident safety.

•Monitors needed repair to facility equipment.

•Follows directions of Environmental Service Supervisor and facility Plant Manager in all duties and responsibilities.

•Assumes the responsibility for infection control within the facility at all times.

•Assumes the responsibility for the prevention of the spread of infection to self and others.
