Job Description

Any combination of education, training and experience equivalent to: Completion of the twelfth (12) grade, supplemented by the completion of an approved basic police academy that would lead to a basic POST certificate to have been completed within the past three (3) years. Preferably one (1) year experience with a California law enforcement agency as either a student service officer, community service officer, or police officer.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience working with children, students or youth organizations
  • Ties to the community
  • Experience or interest in school policing
