Description

Full‑time Regular Plumber position in Operations and Maintenance (O&M) department, part of Facilities Management. The O&M department is responsible for ensuring that all building structures and systems for University owned and leased properties are operated and maintained reliably, efficiently and cost‑effectively to provide a safe and comfortable work environment. Campus is divided into six operating zones.

Reports to the Supervisor, Maintenance. Performs work under minimal supervision. The role includes a continuous high volume of work with peak periods, requiring high physical and mental demands. Responsibilities cover installation, maintenance, repair, and operation of all plumbing and mechanical systems, from antiquated to advanced high‑tech electrical processes. Shift is a normal 7.5‑hour day, Monday to Friday, with possible shift transfers, overtime, rotating on‑call and on‑site callouts.
