JOB SUMMARY:


Location: Suburban


Hours:7:00am - 3:30pm M-F weekend work occasionally


Observes, inspects, maintains and repairs all piping systems and allied equipment, fittings, valves, et cetera, in all hospital building and facilities.

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS/PREFERENCES:


High school diploma or GED.


Completion of or enrollment in an accredited trade school program related to the plumbing trade.


Licensure/Certification/Registration: None required.

EXPERIENCE/REQUIREMENTS:


2 - 5 years’ experience in the plumbing trade involving new construction as well as maintenance of plumbing systems.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

  • Must be able to read blueprints.

  • Knowledge of English language required.

  • Requires math, reading, adaptability, logic, driving, and typing/word processing.
