Playwright / Python Developer – Ecommerce Scraper (Luxury Brands, Ongoing Work)

We are building a competitive intelligence platform focused on luxury leather goods brands.
We need an experienced scraping/automation developer to build a reliable product data extraction pipeline for 1–5 ecommerce brands initially (with potential expansion to more brands).
This is Phase 1 of a longer-term project.
Scope – Phase 1
Build a daily automated scraper for one ecommerce brand (JS-rendered site).
The scraper should extract structured product-level data including:
- Product name
-Category (e.g., crossbody, tote, shoulder)
-Price
-Currency
-Materials
-Colour variants
-Product URL
-image URL
-Availability / stock status (if visible)
-Timestamp of scrape
We also need to store historical snapshots (no overwriting of previous data).
Technical Expectations:
- Playwright (Python preferred, but open to Node if well-justified)
-Handle JS-rendered pages
-Anti-bot awareness (rate limiting, realistic navigation)
