Job Description

Hyatt is seeking an enthusiastic Platform Operations Engineer to join our Platform Operations team. In this role, you will collaborate closely with infrastructure, security, and product teams to support critical services such as content management, reservation, and loyalty systems on Linux platforms (RHEL and AIX). Your responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting middleware platforms and systems on VMs and containers
  • Automating routine tasks using Bash, Ansible, or Terraform
  • Participating in an on-call rotation for support and maintenance
  • Managing security vulnerabilities, certificates, and system upgrades

The ideal candidate will have:

  • At least 4 years supporting Linux-based enterprise platforms
  • Experience with web and application servers like JBoss/WildFly, Apache, WebLogic, or WebSphere
  • Proficiency in scripting and automation tools
