Insight Global is seeking a Platform Engineer to build and support a secure, scalable cloud platform as part of a large-scale migration from on premise systems to AWS. This role focuses on delivering core infrastructure, automation, and self-service capabilities while enabling application teams through modern cloud-native patterns. You will collaborate across architecture, DevSecOps, networking, and security teams to ensure compliance with CJIS, COV, and FBI standards. The pay range for this role is $50-$55/hr.
Key Responsibilities
• Build and operate core AWS infrastructure (VPCs, Transit Gateway, IAM, ECS/EKS, CloudWatch, etc.)
• Design secure, scalable networking, compute, and storage aligned to cloud landing zones
• Deploy and manage container platforms (ECS Fargate, EKS, Kubernetes)
• Develop platform services (API gateways, service mesh, logging, monitoring)
• Support migration of legacy workloads (VMware, Windows, Linux, middleware) to ...
