Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Platform Engineer to support, maintain, and enhance enterprise application platforms across Unix/Linux systems, databases, middleware, and container platforms. The role focuses on platform stability, performance, availability, and operational excellence in mission-critical environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide L2/L3 platform support for enterprise systems across Unix, Linux, and Solaris environments
- Install, configure, and support middleware platforms including WebSphere MQ and WebLogic
- Support and maintain database platforms (Oracle, DB2, SQL, MongoDB)
- Perform system monitoring, performance tuning, and capacity planning
- Manage batch processing, job execution, and platform health checks
- Support containerized platforms using OpenShift
- Handle incident, problem, and change management activities in line with ITIL processes
