Technologies: Apache Kafka, Kafka Streams, Confluent Platform, ZooKeeper, Schema Registry, Java, Python, Kubernetes

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement scalable Apache Kafka architectures.
  • Develop producers and consumers using Java or Python.
  • Build real-time stream processing using Kafka Streams.
  • Configure topics, partitions, replication, and retention policies.
  • Monitor cluster performance using Confluent Control Center.
  • Implement schema management using Schema Registry.
  • Troubleshoot message latency and consumer lag issues.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • 3+ years experience with Apache Kafka production environments.
  • Strong understanding of distributed systems principles.
  • Proficiency in Java, Python, or Scala programming.
