Plate boilermaker

Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications. Measure, mark out, and prepare metal plates for fabrication. Cut, bend, roll, and shape metal using hand tools and machinery. Assemble and fit metal components, tanks, vessels, chutes, hoppers, ducts, and structural steelwork. Perform welding, grinding, gouging, and finishing tasks as required. Repair damaged metal structures and equipment. Conduct inspections to ensure completed work meets quality standards and tolerances. Use lifting equipment such as cranes, chain blocks, and hoists safely. Follow workplace health, safety, and environmental procedures. Maintain tools, equipment, and a clean work area. Work collaboratively with supervisors, engineers, welders, and other tradespeople. #J-18808-Ljbffr
