The Plastic Fabricator operates a variety of saws and fabrication tools to cut, assemble, and finish heavy plastic parts according to detailed specifications and blueprints. This role involves precise measurement, safe operation of equipment, and hands-on mechanical work in a fast-paced, physical production environment.
**Responsibilities**
+ Cut and fabricate heavy plastic parts using band saws, table saws, drill presses, and other shop equipment.
+ Use hot glue guns, hand tools, and pneumatic power tools to assemble and finish plastic components.
+ Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and written instructions to ensure parts meet required specifications.
+ Measure materials accurately using tape measures and other measuring tools to maintain precise dimensions.
+ Perform mechanical and electrical assembly tasks as needed within the production process.
