Overview

Hire Resolve is currently recruiting for an experienced Plastic Extrusion Mechanic/Technician to join a well-established company in Durban. As a Plastic Extrusion Mechanic/Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of plastic extrusion machinery.

Responsibilities

  • Setting up and operating plastic extrusion machines to produce high-quality products
  • Daily, weekly and monthly preventative maintenance as per schedules
  • Breakdown repair work and fault finding
  • Procurement of parts
  • Maintaining spare parts and stock levels
  • Assisting with fine tuning of production line

    • The successful candidate for this role should have a solid background in plastic extrusion and machinery maintenance. Strong technical skills, problem-solving abilities, and attention to detail are essential for this position.
