Plastic Extruder Operator

For an experienced Extruder and Mill Operator to join a leading plastics manufacturing team. You will operate extruders and pulverizing mills to produce compounds used in moulding products such as water tanks and kayaks.

• Requires: Proven experience with extruders and a valid work visa (not requiring sponsorship)
• Salary guide: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour.
• Location: South-eastern suburbs of Victoria.

Your normal day will involve:

• Running extruders and mills
• Cleaning down screens and equipment
• Operating the robotic bagging line, including handling 25kg bags sporadically
• Using a forklift to move finished products into the warehouse
• Scanning finished goods into stock
• Performing general housekeeping tasks
